The brief
A young family wanted a relaxed, low-maintenance home a short walk from Trinity Beach that could host extended family without feeling cavernous day to day.
The challenge
A long, north-facing block brought harsh afternoon sun and required careful orientation to capture the sea breeze while keeping living zones cool.
Our response
We oriented the living wing to the breeze, wrapped it in deep eaves and louvres, and centred the plan on a covered alfresco and pool so the home opens up completely for entertaining and closes down for everyday calm.
The result
A home that feels effortless — naturally cooled, flooded with light, and built to shrug off the wet season with minimal upkeep.
